are you talking for easter weekend?
i'd love to but it would be way less crowded a few weeks after, and better wheeling with all the attention gone

it would have to be after or before easter. IF you guys WANT me to go itll have to be when i dont have school. (spring break?) but i dont want many spectators like on easter because of my lack of driving skill (even though i think im decent) and stuff like that.

lets discuss this guys/gals.

I wouldnt go during easter jeep safari, things will be more expensive during that event.  Temps will probably be reasonable during your spring break and thats another thing you should consider.  I was palning for july since my son is out of school and my shop closes for a week in july so i cant work that week.  But like i said i most likely wont be able to afford it.

the main expense is the fuel driving there and back, there are plenty of camping spots, i for one would just pitch a tent....but its a long ways from now till then, time will tell

I was planning a trip for labor day, to save on expense, I am going to stay at a hotel in Green River, not Moab, it's a 3rd the price, and 49 miles away (living where I do, were way used to making the trip to anything). I figured, pulling my TJ down and back with my F-350 (if I'm going to get 16 mpg, I'm going to get it at 80mph lol), hotel, food, gas for the jeep, and incidentals, I'm going to spend about $600, thats arriving friday night, Sept. 3rd, and leaving monday the 6th to come back. The rooms in Moab are $120 that weekend, Green River's nicer chains are $45, so I'll drive the 50 miles to the trails daily.
